href=\"https:\/\/aes.uic.edu\/programs\/presidents-award-program.html\">President&#8217;s Award Program (PAP)<\/a> Health Scholars visited the College of Applied Health Sciences on Friday, July 28, 2023.\u00a0 These incoming first-year UIC students met with representatives from several of our health sciences programs including <a href=\"https:\/\/ahs.uic.edu\/profiles\/larson-juat-maria\/\">Maria Larson<\/a> (occupational therapy), Mollie Rose (physical therapy) and <a href=\"https:\/\/ahs.uic.edu\/kinesiology-nutrition\/directory\/lam-tina\/\">Tina Lam<\/a> (nutrition), toured our facilities and participated in a scavenger hunt in the <a href=\"https:\/\/ahs.uic.edu\/kinesiology-nutrition\/news\/its-grow-time\/\">Nutrition Teaching Garden<\/a>.\u00a0 The <a href=\"https:\/\/aes.uic.edu\/programs\/presidents-award-program.html\">PAP Health Initiative<\/a> is a new addition to PAP offerings this year to expand programming available to PAP students interested in the health sciences.<\/p>\n","intro_text_excerpt":"PAP recognizes
