Meet Yesenia Cruz, a sophomore in the AHS college with a professional goal of pre-health. She went above and beyond by attending all Skill Surge sessions in both the Academic Skills and Clearing the Clutter series!\u00a0<\/p>\n
When asked why she joined Skill Surge, Yesenia responded:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cI needed help and wasn\u2019t sure what I could do differently this year to succeed. I talked with my advisor, Simona, and she recommended I give this a try. I was willing to try it to make a difference in my habits.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
Throughout the 5-week programs, Yesenia participated in workshops such as Power of Habits, Critical Reading Strategies, Inbox Management, and more! Her favorite part?\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cI liked how the students were very on top of their stuff, very organized, and very nice.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
