It\u2019s also a great place to study, connect, and build academic and professional skills. Learn more at <a href=\"https:\/\/go.uic.edu\/asap\">https:\/\/go.uic.edu\/asap<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We are so proud to recognize two outstanding students for their dedication and hard work this semester!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Student Learning Award:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Jocelyn Olguin, a freshman pre-nursing major, was nominated by our tutor Janikua Gutierrez for her willingness to ask questions and her open-mindedness. Jocelyn\u2019s favorite class is biology, and this is her best study tip: \u201cTake advantage of valuable resources to learn.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Student Engagement Award:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Kristine Lagasca, a senior in kinesiology, is recognized for her continuous involvement and positive presence in our ASAP space. Her favorite class is KN 352: Physiology of Exercise, and this is her top study tip: \u201cBlurting through active recall! I write everything I remember, then check what I missed to reinforce learning.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We see you both, Jocelyn and Kristine! ASAP recognizes your inspiring dedication and commitment to growth and learning.
