We hope you enjoyed the summer season! Below are some important updates and reminders to help you start the Fall semester on the right foot:<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>What&#8217;s New<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Here are a few key updates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Webstore Software Renewals: <\/strong>A number of software programs will need to be renewed, as their licenses have expired over the summer. These programs include Adobe Creative Cloud, CrashPlan, and SPSS. If you haven\u2019t renewed your Adobe license yet, please do so through the WebStore. Without renewal, you won\u2019t be able to edit PDFs. <a href=\"https:\/\/webstore.illinois.edu\/shop\/product.aspx?zpid=7227\">https:\/\/webstore.illinois.edu\/shop\/product.aspx?zpid=7227<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>CrashPlan Reminder:<\/strong> Campus no longer provides CrashPlan licenses. If your department didn\u2019t purchase a license for your computer(s), please ensure you\u2019re saving to the cloud. Use department networked drives, UIC OneDrive, or Box to save your data rather than saving locally to your PC or Mac.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Zoom Minimum Required Version: <\/strong>Over the weekend, Technology Solutions updated the minimum required version for Zoom to 7.1.5. Your workstations have already been updated, but if you use a computer at home, be sure to update it as well. Here are some ways you can reach out to us:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Help Desk<\/strong>: Submit technical support requests at: <strong>help.uic.edu\/ahs<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Classroom Support<\/strong>: FTE Helpdesk technicians will be stationed in PEB and DHSP for the first two weeks of the semester.
