The article examines how plain language summaries (PLSs) can serve as an inclusive teaching strategy to support diverse learners, including students with disabilities, first-generation college students, English language learners, and others navigating complex academic materials. Drawing on principles of critical disability praxis, the authors argue that making information more accessible is a matter of both cognitive access and epistemic justice.
