Anne Bowers receives Phyllis Torda Health Care Quality Fellowship

Disability studies doctoral student Anne Bowers is the recipient of the Phyllis Torda Health Care Quality Fellowship from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). It celebrates the life of Phyllis Torda, who was devoted to improving the national health care system.

The fellowship is 12 months, full-time, in the NCQA offices in Washington, DC. Bowers will be supported by senior staff with expertise in health care quality, measure development, health care informatics, healthcare policy and implementation, practice transformation, health care outcomes, and research and analysis of health care quality data.
