Earning your degree is a big deal.  We’re proud of your accomplishment and can’t wait to hear about all the great things you’ll do. UIC hosts commencement ceremonies in the fall and spring for graduating students. Summer graduates are encouraged to participate in the fall ceremonies.

Commencement day

Make sure everything is ready for commencement day – you worked hard to graduate – now let it show by submitting a graduation slide for the ceremony. Order your cap, gown and other memorabilia for the big day.

AHS Dean’s Award

The Dean’s Award is presented to one outstanding graduating student who has been active in the AHS community while maintaining a strong academic record.  Recipients demonstrate significant service to the college and advocate for the needs of their fellow students.  While remaining active as student leaders, the recipients have also maintained high academic standards.

AHS Achievement Award

The AHS Achievement Award is given annually to one outstanding graduating student from each academic program in the college. Awardees are selected by the faculty, based on their overall academic performance and their potential for becoming an outstanding practitioner in their field, and who have demonstrated leadership or provided service to the campus or their profession.
