Health and Wellness Academy

The UIC Children’s Health and Wellness Academy is a 3-credit community outreach experiential learning course for undergraduate and graduate students interested in collaborating with peers to educate Chicago youth on nutrition and physical activity. It is a spring semester course with a Monday 3:30-5:30 lecture time at AHSB and flexible lab times at various elementary schools in the area.
