Kate Caldwell is awarded the spring 2019 AHS Interdisciplinary Pilot Grant

DHD visiting clinical assistant professor Kate Caldwell has been selected from the spring 2019 round of applications to receive an AHS Interdisciplinary Pilot Grant for her research proposal entitled, “Lead on: Leadership and women with disabilities in government.”

Caldwell will collaborate with Brenda Parker, associate professor of Urban Planning and Policy at UIC, to focus on understanding the experiences of women with disabilities working in government. In addition to doing an analysis of the Federal Employee Viewpoint dataset, they will conduct semi-structured interviews of women with disabilities working in government positions.
