Rachel Wanjagua selected for WHO Development Group for Intellectual Disability

DIS doctoral student Rachel Wanjagua has been selected to work with the World Health Organization Rehabilitation Programme to develop a package of interventions for rehabilitation. She will be a member of the Development Group for Intellectual Disability whose aim is to strengthen rehabilitation in health systems. Wanjagua was nominated to this working group by the families special interest research group of the International Association of the Scientific Study of Intellectual Disability to add rehabilitation perspectives from low-income settings.
