AHS Office of Research Grant Seminar Series: Funding Opportunity Discovery using Pivot-RP

Please join us for the October edition of our new Office of Research Seminar Series on Tuesday October 6, 2026 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Rebecca Milczarek, Ph.D. and Snehlata Tigala, Ph.D. from the Office of Research Development (ORD) will introduce Pivot-RP, a powerful funding search tool available to the entire UIC campus community. Participants will learn the fundamentals needed to begin their grant-seeking journey, as well as advanced strategies for experienced users to maximize the platform’s capabilities.
In addition, the session will highlight the range of services offered by ORD, including support through the Grants Management Office and opportunities to collaborate with ORD staff on prestigious honors and awards. Speakers will also discuss how academic awards and honors can serve as powerful tools for enhancing career advancement, increasing visibility and strengthening institutional impact.
