Facilitating the pursuit of new knowledge and discovery to transform health care practice and social systems.

The AHS Office of Research supports all stages of the research lifecycle, from idea to dissemination.

We assist early career researchers find funding for a novel idea and connect established researchers with partners and resources to support their next big idea.

We help develop the strongest possible proposal, both scientifically and administratively, with statistical analysis, regulatory support and external review.

We handle the budgeting, routing and submission process so you can focus on your project's needs.

We work with your department/unit to set up accounts and keep an eye on the big picture so you can focus on the day-to-day, and we help you stay in compliance with your sponsor’s reporting rules and regulations.

We connect you with the resources you need to drive discovery and will help you share your successes within UIC and with the outside world.
