Promoting Systems of Equity: Understanding DEIA and Systemic Oppression is an introductory workshop hosted by the Illinois Department of Human Rights Training Institute. Designed to foster awareness and open discussion, this course guides participants through four core areas: understanding personal versus social identity, exploring the cycle of socialization, analyzing levels of systemic oppression, and promoting sustainable systems of equity. Through interactive tools and collaborative dialogue, you'll examine power, privilege, and diversity in a supportive space.
