Help us stock the AHS Food Pantry on the 5th floor of AHSB. The pantry is available to all AHS students. Pick up extra items while you are shopping for the holidays or bring in any leftover items you may have after Thanksgiving.
Look for the donation bins across from the elevators on alternating floors in AHSB and outside of 242 DHSPB. You can also stop by 516 AHSB to drop off any donation items.
The food drive is being sponsored by the Black Indigenous People of Color Nutrition Association (BIPOC DNA), Student Nutrition Association (SNA), Department of Kinesiology & Nutrition, and the AHS Office of the Dean, Student Affairs.
Suggested items for donation include:
- Boxes of pasta
- Tomato sauce
- Canned soups, chicken, fish/seafood, or beans
- Rice
- Chicken broth
- Cereal and oatmeal
- Mixed nuts
- Seeds (chia, flax, hemp, etc.
- Canned or dried fruits and veggies
- Peanut butter
- Pretzels
- Crackers
- Tortillas
- Salsa
- Applesauce
