Location: Virtual via Zoom
What you’ll learn to do:
- Showcase Expertise: Ensure your scholarly contributions are accurately represented across platforms.
- Optimize Visibility: Make your research more discoverable to funders and potential collaborators, within and beyond UIC.
- Enhance Recognition: Help your institution identify and nominate your achievements for various awards/honors/fellowships.
- Improve Attribution: Ensure your work is correctly linked to you in systems like ORCiD, Academic Analytics and UICollaboratory.
- Streamline Reporting: Make institutional reporting and benchmarking easier and more accurate.
- Hands-On Guidance: Get real-time help updating your profiles on key platforms. A well-maintained profile now means less scrambling when opportunities arise.
What you’ll need to bring:
- An ORCiD ID
- Your latest CV or biosketch
- A brief paragraph summarizing your research interests (150-200 words)
- 7-8 Keywords about your research
