The newly formed Diverse-OT at UIC is excited to invite you all to our second meeting with IlliSOTA and COTAD: Fall Holiday/Cultual Trivia!!
Location: AHSB room 713 and on Zoom
This event is open to current OT students and undergraute AHS students who are considering a career in OT.
What is Diverse-OT?
Diverse-OT National is committed to dismantling systemic oppression in occupational therapy and progressing the fight for health equity. Through education, leadership, and empowerment, we equip OT practitioners to deliver radically inclusive care grounded in the experiences of those most impacted by inequity.
As future practitioners, we know how crucial it is to be able to connect with our clients and knowing more about some of the cultural backgrounds of clients is important. Join us as we learn and celebrate many of the different holidays/cultures for the upcoming season.
