The arts industry is one of the largest economic drivers in the U.S. Disabled people who engage in the arts economy, as a visitor, employee, or artist, have a complex journey coordinating and navigating multiple systems and activities that were designed for a non-disabled person. This will include highlighting several international projects focused on Art, Disability & OT, including a national grant with the Kennedy Center. Dr. Ideishi has been awarded the Excellence in Accessibility Leadership Award by the Kennedy Center for his national and global leadership in educating and advancing accessibility.
