On behalf of the Illinois Rural Health Association, we are pleased to invite students to attend the Rural Health Careers Virtual Panel Discussion on Thursday, April 16th at 7:00pm. Students will have the opportunity to hear directly from professionals working in a variety of high demand careers within the rural health field in this free virtual event. The panel will feature professionals from several areas of healthcare who will share insights about their careers, educational pathways, and experiences serving rural communities. Panelists include:
• Community Health Worker
• Dentist
• EMS Manager
• Hospital Administrator
• Hospital Pharmacist
• Public Health Department Administrator
• Social Worker
Students will have the opportunity to learn first-hand about career options in rural health and gain valuable perspectives from professionals currently working in the field.
This event is open to junior high, high school, and college students who are interested in exploring careers in healthcare and public health.
Participation is free however, registration is required by April 15th.
