Skill Surge is Back at ASAP!

January 12 - February 6, 2026

8:00 AM - 12:00 AM

Flyer for the UIC Applied Health Sciences Academic Support and Achievement Program titled “Skill Surge.” The flyer promotes Spring 2026 Skill Surge workshops with two series: Series 1, Academic Skill Building (time management, learning styles and study skills, critical reading strategies, exam prep, and the power of habits), and Series 2, Clearing the Clutter (calendar management, UIC digital tools, inbox management, phone maximization, and wellness). The right side lists Spring 2026 time options for each series with days, times, and facilitators. A callout reads, “Ready to take control of your college career?” with a sign-up link to go.uic.edu/ASAPSkillSurge and contact email ahsASAP@uic.edu.

Ready to take control of your college career? ASAP is offering you to join a 5-week program to upgrade your academic and organizational skills. Series 1 offers workshops covering essential topics to excel in every class, from time management, study skills, to exam prep. Then, Series 2 introduces methods to reclaim your organizational habits, with calendar management, inbox management, and phone maximization workshops. You can sign up for either series, or even both!

Our peer coaches will guide you through each workshop, and they offer many different times that you can personalize to fit your schedule. The sessions are designed for small groups to discuss and connect, and each workshop is one hour long. Additionally, Skill Surge sessions take place in person at 901 W. Roosevelt Rd., PEB 356, Chicago, IL 60608. Please fill out the form below to sign up and make this academic year the best one yet!
