Join us on Nov. 21st in the Odeh Center!

We are very excited to spotlight our next group of panelists for our fourth core commitment of Cultural Humility. We are honored to be hosting a joint panel of both UIC researchers and their community partners in this program. As we will all need extra warmth come November and herbal medicine offers valuable tools for promoting health and preventing illness, we will partner with our friends from the Atkins Medicinal Plant Garden and the UIC Heritage Garden to make home grown teas as we engage in dialogue together.

The goal of this session is to listen, self-reflect and discuss what cultural humility is, why it is important from its foundation in theoretical frameworks to its application in practice, and how we can collaborate with each other to uplift its value in real world spaces.

This event is free & open to all.
This event is in person only.
