YuJa Panorama Hands-on Workshop: Making Your Documents Accessible
Join us for a hands-on workshop focused on using YuJa Panorama to improve the accessibility of Word documents and other text-based materials. Replacing Blackboard Ally, Panorama integrates with Canvas to help instructors identify and fix accessibility issues directly within their course sites. This session will walk through real examples of course documents, demonstrating how to interpret accessibility scores, address headings and structure, adjust color contrast, and apply Panorama’s recommended fixes.
This workshop supports UIC’s efforts to meet the Title II digital accessibility mandate, which requires all public universities to ensure digital content is accessible by 2026.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Interpret accessibility scores in YuJa Panorama.
- Remediate accessibility issues in Word and text-based documents.
- Structure documents using proper headings, lists, and reading order.
