YuJa Panorama Overview: Getting Started with UIC’s New Accessibility Tool for Course Content
Join us for an overview of YuJa Panorama, UIC’s new accessibility tool replacing Blackboard Ally. This session introduces Panorama’s key features and shows how it integrates with Blackboard and Canvas to help instructors identify and address accessibility issues. We’ll demonstrate how Panorama flags problems, assigns accessibility scores, provides Alternative Formats for students, and offers tools to fix accessibility issues. You’ll also tour the Panorama Dashboard to review course wide accessibility data and see how Panorama connects to DocHub for managing your files.
This workshop also highlights how YuJa Panorama supports compliance with the Title II mandate requiring public institutions to meet digital accessibility standards by 2026.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Describe the core functions of YuJa Panorama.
- Locate accessibility indicators and reports.
- Explain basic remediation using YuJa Panorama’s built-in tools.
