Hosted by the Advanced Degree Consulting Student Club (ADCSC) at UIC
The Advanced Degree Consulting Student Club (ADCSC) at UIC is a newly registered student organization dedicated to equipping PhD, PharmD, MD, and other advanced degree students with the structured tools, networks, and preparation needed to successfully transition into consulting and strategy-oriented careers.
We founded ADCSC to fill a clear gap at UIC, providing centralized, structured exposure to consulting recruiting, case preparation, and industry engagement tailored specifically to advanced degree candidates.
Consulting & You is one of our signature introductory events. This is an in-house, interactive workshop led by ADCSC leadership, and experienced advanced-degree students are actively navigating consulting recruiting and have participated in case competitions, networking cycles, and firm engagements. It’s designed to be small and discussion-based so attendees can ask candid questions and receive practical, experience-driven guidance.
Attendees can:
- Ask candid questions about recruiting
- Receive practical, experience-based advice
- Engage directly with club leadership
- Connect one-on-one with peers preparing for consulting
What to Expect:
- Networking strategies tailored for advanced degree candidates (PhD, PharmD, MD)
