AHS participates in special events during Flames Days
Introduction
AHS participated in two special events for the Obama Foundation Program and the Girls Opportunity Alliance (GOA) Flames Day on July 10 and My Brother's Keeper (MBK) Alliance Flames Day on July 17. AHS is one of three UIC colleges that hosted sessions at each event. Leo Arguelles, Kendra Bullard and DPT student Victoria Zoltowska hosted interactive workshops to introduce the rising ninth-graders to opportunities in physical therapy, kinesiology and sports psychology. Darren Annor, kinesiology undergraduate and EXITO scholar, served on a student panel for the MBK event. Melvin Woolkfolk, Tyrianna Sorrell and Eileen Doran represented AHS at the information fair and expo.
