Andrew Boyd and Karen Dunn-Lopez co-principal investigators of new $1.5 million NIH R01 award

Professor Barbara Di Eugenio of UIC Computer Science (PI), and (co-PIs) BHIS assistant professor Andrew Boyd, Pamela Martyn-Nemeth (Nursing), Richard Cameron (Linguistics), BHIS visiting associate professor Karen Dunn Lopez, Debaleena Chattopadhyay (Computer Science), Amer Ardati (Cardiology), and Carolyn Dickens (Cardiology) are the recipients of a new four-year NIH R01 award entitled "SCH: INT: MyPHA: Automatically generating personalized accounts of in‐patient hospitalization."

The award is for $1,495,213, running from Aug. 2018 to July 2022.
