Applications open for the Midwest Roybal Center for Health Promotion and Translation grant competition
The Midwest Roybal Center for Health Promotion and Translation is holding a grant competition for scientists studying health promotion for older adults.
Competition
The Midwest Roybal Center will review and include 1-2 clinical trials in its 6th consecutive funding cycle competition. Once funded by NIA, RCTs would begin work June 2024. Open to all doctorate-level research faculty. Proposed interventions must be principle-driven behavioral interventions that target middle-aged and older adults (50+) living in the United States. Interventions must be behavioral (e.g., physical activity) and seek to prevent or delay cognitive decline. Projects can be funded up to $200,000 total direct for 1-2 years.
