We are so proud to recognize two outstanding students for their dedication and hard work this semester!
Student Learning Award:
Jocelyn Olguin, a freshman pre-nursing major, was nominated by our tutor Janikua Gutierrez for her willingness to ask questions and her open-mindedness. Jocelyn’s favorite class is biology, and this is her best study tip: “Take advantage of valuable resources to learn.”
Student Engagement Award:
Kristine Lagasca, a senior in kinesiology, is recognized for her continuous involvement and positive presence in our ASAP space. Her favorite class is KN 352: Physiology of Exercise, and this is her top study tip: “Blurting through active recall! I write everything I remember, then check what I missed to reinforce learning.”
We see you both, Jocelyn and Kristine! ASAP recognizes your inspiring dedication and commitment to growth and learning. Congratulations for being our 2025 learning and engagement award recipients!
