We are excited to recognize two outstanding students for their dedication, engagement, and hard work this semester!
Student Learning AwardÂ
Sayra Rodriguez, a junior majoring in Integrated Health Studies, was selected for her strong commitment to learning and academic growth. Her favorite class is Anatomy and Physiology I, and her top study tip is:
“Reviewing material before and after class.”
Sayra’s proactive approach to learning is a great example of how small, consistent habits can make a big difference.
Special thanks to Isha Mehta for recognizing and nominating Sayra for this award. Her thoughtful nomination highlighted Sayra’s drive to learn and commitment to using every resource to succeed. We truly appreciate the care and dedication our tutors bring in supporting and uplifting students!
Student Engagement AwardÂ
Jalen Starling, a senior majoring in Kinesiology, is recognized for his active involvement and positive presence in the ASAP space. His favorite class is Motor Control, and his go-to study strategy is:
“Speaking out loud and teaching others topics of concern to reinforce the material in your mind.”
Jalen’s willingness to engage, collaborate, and support others truly embodies the spirit of ASAP.
