Ashley Hughes co-author on accepted protocol on care quality

BHIS assistant professor Ashley M. Hughes is a co-author on a study protocol accepted to the journal Implementation Science.

The protocol paper, "Impact of team configuration and team stability on primary care quality," details the methodological approach of a funded Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) study. This study seeks to define the importance of Patient Centered Medical Home primary care team(s) on care quality at a national level.

Dr. Hughes serves as a co-author on the forthcoming protocol paper, UIC site Principal Investigator (Co-Investigator on the grant) on the grant, and design team member expert on the project. Results of the study are anticipated seek to identify and defineĀ  the ideal configurations for primary care teams to ensure high quality patient care.
