Ashley Hughes is senior author on a new publication with leaders of UIC's Cancer Center. The paper reports findings from a study comparing the effectiveness of three evidence based interventions at promoting uptake in colorectal cancer screening in Chicagoland Federally Qualified Health Centers.The paper was features by the UIC Cancer Center: cancer.uillinois.edu/study-foundational-to-emerging-large-colorectal-cancer-prevention-initiative.

The findings bear implications for tailoring evidence based interventions based on a clinic's ethnic and racial context.
