BHIS SAFE-T lab presents at 2019 International Health Care Symposium for Human Factors
Members of the Systems-based Approach for Enhancing Teamwork (SAFE-T) lab in BHIS are scheduled to present their research at the 2019 International Symposium on Human Factors and Ergonomics in Health Care, March 24-27.
Rachel Mason, a graduate student in SAFE-T lab, will present her work on testing telehealth in mass casualty simulations in a poster format.
Federica Violi, an honors college undergradaute SAFE-T lab student, will present work from her independent study on cost factors impacting robotic assisted prostatectomies.
Dr. Ashley Hughes, SAFE-T lab director, will also present as part of an invited panel with BHIS Professor Dr. Liza Papautsky. Their panel highlights patient experiences in navigating the complex US healthcare system.
