Introduction
BHIS PhD student Blessing C. Nwachukwu, a student in Liza Papautsky’s laboratory, was selected to receive a Chicago Consular Corps Professional Development Award 2023, awarded to UIC international students by the Office of Global Engagement in honor of the Chicago Consular Corps’ commitment to education and cultural exchanges that foster international understanding.
