BVIS Participation and Awards at Inaugural CAIDF Hackathon
BVIS students, faculty, and alumni recently participated in the first-ever CAIDF Hackathon, an ARPA-H funded project designed to explore and unlock hidden data in healthcare.
Two teams received third place, two teams received second place, and one team received the grand first place prize
Keaton Mullins (BVIS Cohort of 2022), Rajashree Dahal, Jessie Hansen, Mihail Popescu, Pardis Hoessein Pour, and Kim Powell earned third place for their project, 4M4YOU: Age-Friendly Integrated Care Summary.
Saraina Adam (BVIS Cohort of 2018, BVIS faculty), Bri Clarahan, Beth Cullen, and Anuja Tayal earned second place for their project, Discharge Pathfinder – Navigating your way from hospitalization to home.
And finally, Samantha Kobel (BVIS Cohort of 2024, rising second-year student), Arthur Zacharjasz, and Lisa Young won the grand first-place prize for their project, Seeing Patients – Unlocking Hidden Clinical Signals to Prevent Falls.
