Call for proposals: AHS Interdisciplinary Pilot Grant Program
The College of Applied Health Sciences is soliciting applications for Interdisciplinary Pilot Grant Program to promote development of new interdisciplinary research projects that have the potential to impact health or quality of life and to attract significant extramural funding. Up to $30,000 per project will be provided and funds are to be expended within one year from date of award.
Proposals that bring innovative new ideas are welcomed from basic, clinical, translational, and community-based researchers. All full time AHS faculty are eligible to apply but preference will be given to applicants with limited existing research funding. The application must identify a new collaborator outside of the home department who brings a different discipline, expertise, or methodology to the project. Applications are due on November 3, 2023 and funds will be available by January 2, 2024.
