Carrie Sandahl serving as MANCC 2017-18 writer-in-residence
Introduction
DHD associate professor Carrie Sandahl is a 2017-18 Maggie Allesse National Center for Choreography (MANCC) writer-in-residence. MANCC provides residencies for choreographers and their collaborators to develop new work.
Sandahl and 2017-18 MANCC artist- and collaborators-in-residence are collaborating on a dance work titled "Descent," which had an informal showing on Sept. 5. Sandahl was invited to "further an emerging conversation about how to language disability and dance."
