Akemi Nishida and Myst. Torres are co-authors of Disability Visibility Project white paper

Akemi Nishida and DHD graduate student Myst. Torres are part of the Disabled Scholars of Color Collective to author a key document for the field of disability studies. The white paper offers crucial information on how disabled scholars of color are treated in the academy, how topics of race are (not) integrated in disability studies scholarships, and what they dream of for disabled scholars and the field of critical race disability studies.
