DHD Postdoctoral Researcher, Dr. Sabrina Ali Jamal-Eddine, was selected to participate in the competitive 2026 Johns Hopkins University N-SISS fellowship [Nursing Science Incubator for SDoH (social determinants of health) Solutions]. This is a training fellowship to supplement her postdoc here at DHD.
N-SISS is a prestigious, yearlong training fellowship [January 2026-December 2026] that aids fellows in designing and implementing innovative research aimed at eliminating health inequities in the US (with Sabrina's focus being on addressing psychosocial wellbeing health inequities of the disability community). This fellowship will consist of majority virtual and several weeklong on-campus trainings, 2) applied research experience, and 3) individualized and team mentoring, culminating in each fellow having a prepared NIH grant application.
