Eric Swirsky to present at the 11th International Conference on Applied Ethics in Kyoto, Japan
Introduction
BHIS clinical associate professor Eric Swirsky to deliver paper presentation at the the 11th International Conference on Applied Ethics in Kyoto, Japan December 15-16, 2018. The paper, entitled Return to Plato’s Cave: Ethics Education and the Preservation of Democracy, will discuss the ways in which education in health, science, and technology, steeped in deliberation of attendant ethical issues, can fill societal voids and preserve democracy for the next generation.
