Great Lakes ADA Center part of a grant to promote positive employment outcomes for persons with physical disabilities

DHD's Great Lakes ADA Center is part of a new grant awarded to Shirley Ryan AbilityLab's Center for Rehabilitation Outcomes Research to promote positive employment outcomes for persons with physical disabilities.

Funded by the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research of the US Department of Health and Human Services, the $4.375 million five year grant will establish the Rehabilitation Research Training Center on Employment for People with Physical Disabilities.

Partners of the grant include the University of Washington, Northwestern University, the University of Illinois at Chicago, and the Great Lakes and Pacific Northwest regional ADA centers.
