Institute on Disability and Human Development receives another $3 million grant for a University Center of Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service

The Institute on Disability and Human Development, housed in the Department of Disability and Human Development, has received another  five-year, $3 million grant from the from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Community Living, for a University Center of Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service (UCEDD).  IDHD promotes the self-determination, productivity, health, and community inclusion of people with disabilities through the four mandated activities:  1) interdisciplinary pre-service training; 2) community services (model services, community training, and technical assistance); 3) research; and 4) dissemination. IDHD is the UCEDD for the State of Illinois.
