Introduction
DHD distinguished professor Lennard Davis is the co-author of an opinion piece published in the Washington Post titled, "Protecting the rights of people with disabilities is not optional."
In it, Davis and journalist David Perry argue against recently advanced legislation that would make the Americans with Disabilities Act essentially optional.
