Mansha Mirza and Yolanda Suarez-Balcazar present at Rush Copley Medical Center
OT professor and department head Yolanda Suarez-Balcazar and OT assistant professor Mansha Mirza were invited speakers at a full-day training workshop organized by Rush Copley Medical Center, Compañeros en Salud in Aurora, Illinois on March 13.
The full-day training focused on “Weaving Cultural Relevance and Appropriate Linguistic Programming into Health, Health Care and Social Services”. Forty-five health professionals and social service professionals were in attendance.
