Your nomination for an important award could lead to a University of Illinois System program or department receiving $50,000.
The Dr. Tai R. Shin and Mrs. You H. Shin Humanitarian Award honors individuals making an exemplary impact on humanity.
Honorees:
- Receive a $5,000 honorarium plus travel expenses to interact with faculty, staff and students at one of our universities.
- Choose a U of I System department or program to receive $50,000 to help advance other humanitarian work.
Nominate the world-changing humanitarians in your circles of influence and share this news release with others inside and outside of the U of I System who may do the same.
The Shin Humanitarian Award honoree from the previous round will be announced this week.
