Nominations are now being accepted for Legacy Scholarship
Introduction
The Legacy Scholarship program was established to recognize the legacies of current and former deans and directors of the Midwest Association of Allied Health Deans of Academic Health Centers. The scholarship is awarded to students with at least one term or semester remaining in their undergraduate/graduate/professional program, who possess professional and interpersonal qualities that demonstrate that they will likely establish their own legacies of service, teaching, and/or research in the allied health professions.
Up to three scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $2500 by the Midwest Association of Allied Health Deans of Academic Health Centers. Awardees will be selected based on demonstrated leadership and involvement in service and interprofessional activities. The UIC College of Applied Health Sciences can submit up to one graduate and one undergraduate student application in consideration for this award. Please consider nominating a student or encouraging a student to self-nominate for this award.
