Register for Faculty Lab: Accessible Course Design in Action

Dear Colleagues,

We encourage instructors to register for the in-person workshop"Accessible Course Design in Action: A Spring Faculty Lab" on April 3rd.

You must register in advance to attend this event. Participants may attend one or more sessions.

This interactive faculty lab focuses on building accessible and inclusive digital learning experiences, presented by The Digital Accessibility Services and Engineering (DASE) team and Learning Technology Solutions (LTS) at Technology Solutions.

It is open to UIC faculty and staff who create, manage, or support digital course content, including instructors, instructional designers, and academic support staff.

This lab features two simultaneous learning tracks during each session block, allowing participants to select the topics most relevant to their teaching and course development needs.

  • DASE Track focuses on digital accessibility best practices and remediation strategies.
  • LTS Track focuses on instructional technology tools and effective Canvas course design.

Each session provides practical guidance, demonstrations, and hands-on support.
