Sangeetha Madhavan is awarded the UIC Chancellor’s Innovation Fund
Introduction
Sangeetha Madhavan has been selected for the second phase of the UIC Chancellor's Innovation Fund Proof of Concept Awards program.
The Chancellor's Innovation Fund has been established at UIC by the Office of the Chancellor in partnership with Illinois Ventures and Office of Technology Management to support the commercialization of technology developed by faculty and staff at UIC.
Dr. Madhavan, in conjunction with co-inventor Cristian Luciano from the UIC Department of Bioengineering, will examine the effectiveness of a home-based training program that integrates gamification for optimizing walking recovery in stroke recovery.
