Sanket Shah authors article on the use of healthcare data to address the opioid crisis
BHIS adjunct instructor Sanket Shah is the author of a Healthcare Informatics article titled, "How Predictive Analytics Can Help Address the Opioid Crisis."
"Using healthcare data and actionable analytics could play a key role in helping to combat this crisis. Specifically, diagnostic, descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics make it possible to identify individuals who are at risk of becoming opioid dependent," Shah writes.
