Savitha Subramanium awarded ISPGR Aftab Patla Innovation Award
Introduction
RS doctoral candidate Savitha Subramanium was awarded the Aftab Patla Innovation Award ($750 cash prize award and certificate) for best poster in the clinical sciences category at the very prestigious International Society of Posture and Gait Rehabilitation (ISPGR) World Congress.
Her project was titled, "A virtual-reality dance-based exercise to increase cardiovascular fitness and community ambulation in individuals with chronic stroke: A preliminary study."
