Tanvi Bhatt and Team Present Research at APTA Combined Sections Meeting 2023
Tanvi Bhatt attended the American Physical Therapy Association Combined Sections Meeting in San Diego, California, and delivered three symposiums on novel behavioral interventions targeting cognitive-motor neuroplasticity and interventions to inform fall prevention via neuroimaging of reactive balance control among aging populations. Doctoral student – Lakshmi Kannan also delivered a platform presentation on a feasibility study on dual-task perturbation training in aging adults with mild cognitive impairment. Doctoral students – Rudri Purohit, Jessica Pitts, and Upasana Sahu presented posters on systematic mobile brain imaging to examine task-related cortical correlates of reactive balance control and understanding cognitive contributions to reactive balance control in older adults, respectively.
