Tanvi Bhatt and Team Showcases Research at APTA-CSM 2025
Tanvi Bhatt and team members (Rudri Purohit, Jessica Pitts, Alyssa Jones, Gillian Mclean and Meaghan Rubsam) recently attended the annual American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) – Combined Sections Meeting in Houston, Texas, February 13-15. This conference was a great opportunity for the team to showcase findings from our ongoing research projects. Dr. Bhatt presented and moderate five symposium sessions regarding novel topics such as markerless motion capture tools for outcomes assessment, harnessing therapeutic role of error in neurologic physical therapy and navigating technologies and research methodologies for rehabilitation innovation. Team members – Jessica Pitts and Rudri Purohit delivered platform presentations on ongoing lab projects examining reactive balance assessment and training among aging adults with mild cognitive impairment and stroke.
